A lesson:
be very selective of the relationships you choose to build, for whenever you are building an intimate bond with someone, you are letting down a wall, breaking off a barrier, and becoming more vulnerable than you’re probably aware of and most importantly, once you allow an individual to lay his hands on such surface of vulnerability, you can never really get it back. if the bond ends, you can build back all the walls you want to, but that person will always know how to break them back down, and remember, you taught him how to.
